As a pivotal member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and global partners to decode emerging megatrends—from quantum computing breakthroughs to neuro-interfaces. Your insights will directly influence our $2B R&D pipeline and position us as the undisputed leader in 2026+ technology landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, space tech, and climate innovation ecosystems
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact metrics
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios
- Author white papers and thought leadership on paradigm-shifting technologies
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental prototyping
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and TED-style conferences
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists using our proprietary Foresight Framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Published thought leadership in journals like MIT Tech Review or WIRED
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA with innovation focus
- Fluency in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-shaping initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
