Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and socio-economic shifts through 2030
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Impact Reports' analyzing market readiness for emerging paradigms
- Architect strategic frameworks for quantum computing integration and AI ethics governance
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future demands
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs for trend forecasting
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board of directors
- Drive adoption of sustainable circular economy principles in product lifecycle design
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (journal articles, white papers)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on long-term transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategy
