Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align 2026+ vision with current organizational capabilities
- Design and facilitate workshops on future readiness across departments
- Produce thought leadership reports on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partners, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future risks and opportunities through data modeling and scenario simulation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, climate tech, biotechnology, or space economics
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in future-focused publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ predictive accuracy in strategic initiatives
