Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Utilize EHR systems to document patient information and track outcomes
- Provide clear communication to patients/families regarding treatment protocols
- Maintain accurate triage records and compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Train new staff on triage protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years ED/urgent care experience
- BSN or higher preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
