Responsibilities
- Assist Dentists: Provide chair-side assistance during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Instrument Preparation: Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, update medical histories, and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Diagnostics: Capture and process dental X-rays (Radiographs) accurately.
- Hygiene Support: Apply topical anesthetics and rubber dams as directed by the dentist.
- Office Duties: Manage inventory of supplies and maintain a clean, organized operatory.
Qualifications
- Certification: Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program; current DANB or state certification preferred.
- Licensure: Valid RDA or CDA license in the state of Ohio.
- Skills: Proficient in 4-handed dentistry and digital radiography.
- CPR: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
