Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor client health status for any changes.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, vacuuming, and changing linens.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
