Responsibilities
Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Medication Management: Remind clients to take their medications on time and report any changes in health to the nursing staff.
Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to combat loneliness and improve quality of life.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands as needed.
Qualifications
Certification: Current Texas CNA certification or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related healthcare field is a plus but not mandatory.
Compassion: Genuine passion for helping others and a patient, kind demeanor.
Reliability: Ability to maintain a consistent schedule and punctuality.
Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
