Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding based on the client's dietary requirements.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings.
- Document daily activities and report any concerns to the care coordinator immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in home health, elderly care, or nursing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and detail-oriented.
