Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and feeding.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in a client's health status to the supervisor.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social activities.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Document care logs and medication reminders accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but we offer training for the right candidate.
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Personal Care Assistant is a plus.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient demeanor are essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
