Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining the client's dignity.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning the client's living space.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands as required.
- Offer companionship and conversation to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the Care Manager.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- CNA or HHA certification is a plus but not required for all positions.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with seniors and families.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
