Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily care logs accurately.
- Provide engaging companionship through conversation, games, and light activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a safe living environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social events.
- Monitor client health and report any changes to the care team immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or PCA is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
