Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with daily medication management under supervision.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes or concerns to the Care Coordinator immediately.
Qualifications
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is preferred but not always required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and reference check.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overnights.
- Physical ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed.
