Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals and manage light meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation to reduce isolation.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document vital signs and care logs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Caregiver or PCA Certification required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in home health or geriatric care preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
