Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary restrictions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, reducing feelings of isolation.
- Assist with medication reminders and monitoring for changes in health condition.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social outings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily care logs and incident reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or HHA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping the elderly.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
