Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and grooming.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary restrictions.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, or therapy sessions.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to combat loneliness and improve quality of life.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for your clients.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
