Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with the utmost respect and dignity.
- Medication Management: Provide accurate medication reminders and document administration logs as required by state regulations.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious, appetizing meals according to dietary restrictions and client preferences.
- Companionship & Communication: Engage clients in conversation, read to them, or accompany them on outings to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the client.
- Reporting: Communicate any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or case manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate (we provide training!).
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping the elderly or those with disabilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
