Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take medications and report any changes in health to supervisors.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or errands as needed.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care notes.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not always required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bathing, transferring).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and compassionate demeanor.
