Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Monitor client health status and report any changes to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred but not always required).
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not required (we will train you).
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards the elderly.
