Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure client hygiene and comfort.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily medication schedules accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities to prevent isolation.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, social activities, and shopping trips.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient demeanor.
- Ability to lift and move clients (up to 50 lbs) safely and comfortably.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or the medical field is a plus.
