Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor for any changes in health status.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands.
- Document daily care logs and communicate any concerns to the care coordinator.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
