We are looking for individuals who are patient, reliable, and eager to provide top-tier care to seniors in the San Jose area.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene as needed.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to the supervisor.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in conversation, and participate in recreational activities with clients.
- Mobility Support: Help clients move around the home safely, including transferring to and from bed or chairs.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light cleaning tasks.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care plans regarding client status.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Certification: Current CNA or HHA certification is a plus; we provide training for the right candidates.
- Licensure: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Experience: Prior experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical: Ability to lift and assist patients weighing up to 200 lbs.
