Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming clients.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Manage medication reminders and coordinate with medical professionals when necessary.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for those under your care.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients and families.
