Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA, HHA, or CMT certification is a plus but not always required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks throughout the shift.
