Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during medical procedures by passing instruments and sterilizing equipment.
- Prepare operating rooms and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment to strict standards.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterile techniques and hospital protocols to prevent infection.
- Restock surgical rooms with necessary supplies and dispose of contaminated items properly.
- Document patient medical histories and surgical procedures accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
