Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical units with diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Participate in emergency response and rapid assessment protocols
- Support patient/family education for optimal health outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred for specialized unit assignments
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
