Responsibilities:
- Chairside Assistance: Support dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, review medical histories, and prepare treatment rooms with precision.
- Clinical Duties: Perform intraoral X-rays, impressions, and take accurate vital signs.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Administrative Support: Manage appointment scheduling, verify insurance coverage, and handle check-in/check-out processes.
- Lab Tasks: Prepare models, temporary crowns, and perform basic dental laboratory work.
- Communication: Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene techniques.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA) or license to practice in Missouri (RDA).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software and radiography techniques.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and patient-centric approach.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high standards of accuracy.
