Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) to ensure their comfort and hygiene.
- Provide companionship and conversation to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and meal preparation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not always required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to lift and assist clients (up to 50 lbs).
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
