Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in conversation and recreational activities.
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team or case manager immediately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using mobility aids like walkers or wheelchairs.
- Administer medications and track intake according to prescribed guidelines.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- CNA, CMA, or Home Health Aide certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist with training).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
