Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, or errands.
- Administer prescribed medications and document care provided accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current State Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic nature.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
