Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients, including listening and engaging in conversation.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe living environment.
- Medication reminders and coordination with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Monitor client well-being and report any changes in health or behavior to the Care Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist with training if needed).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
