Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor client health status.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
- Document daily care activities and any changes in client condition accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is highly preferred but not strictly required for entry-level roles.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine sense of empathy.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties effectively.
