Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal hygiene support and ensure the client's living space is clean and safe.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily care logs accurately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social events.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and dusting as assigned.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus but not required.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
