Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management under the supervision of a nurse.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the supervisor.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, or grocery shopping as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but not mandatory (we provide training).
- Previous experience as a CNA, HHA, or Caregiver is preferred but not required for compassionate candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A genuine passion for geriatric care and helping others.
