Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Medication reminders and documentation of daily care logs.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands as needed.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to combat isolation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, CMA, or HHA certification is a plus but we offer training for the right candidates.
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks throughout the day.
