Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Administer medication and follow care plans as directed by RNs.
- Document daily activities and report any concerns to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not required with paid training.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist with this training).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably.
