Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in acute care settings, including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols and physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific standards
- Maintain patient safety through continuous monitoring and emergency response protocols
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license with quick process)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with strong experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Valid US passport and willingness to travel
