Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory cleanliness
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for patient visits
- Manage patient records and scheduling software
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle instruments
- Willingness to complete paid training program
- Basic computer proficiency
- Nebraska Dental Assistant certification within 6 months
- Valid CPR certification (or obtain during training)
