Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning and feeding.
- Administer medication reminders and document daily logs accurately.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or emergencies to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide is preferred but not required.
