Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Provide medication reminders and document patient intake accurately.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events.
- Monitor health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands to ensure a safe living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the client's quality of life.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA or Home Health Aide certification is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle are mandatory.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not always required.
