Role Overview:
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to patients. We value precision, compassion, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and package prescription medications according to physician orders.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication dosages.
- Assist the Pharmacist in the compounding and dispensing processes.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding medications.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification (PTCB/ExCPT).
- Current state licensure to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using pharmacy management software systems.
