Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and professional manner.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Household Assistance: Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, and social events as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA or HHA Certification is a plus but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
