Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce loneliness and improve quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients for any health changes.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and errands.
- Document daily care logs and communicate any concerns to the care coordinator.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in home care, nursing assistance, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
