Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
- Medication reminders and tracking to ensure client safety and adherence to medical plans.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation, reading, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional condition to the Care Manager.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we provide training if you don't have one).
- Previous experience in home health, personal care, or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a patient, caring demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
