Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using provided equipment (lifts, walkers, etc.).
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Administer medication as directed by the client’s physician or case manager.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to improve the client’s mental well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CNA, CMA, or HHA certification preferred but not always required.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
