Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, sterilize equipment, and arrange surgical instruments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Ensure sterile environments are maintained throughout surgeries
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms and monitor vital signs
- Manage surgical supplies and inventory with precision
- Document procedural details accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior surgical tech experience necessary
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced medical environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks
- Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Completion of our paid training program within 90 days
- Commitment to obtaining certification within 1 year (supported by employer)
