Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient condition accurately.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary restrictions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients to improve their quality of life.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or errands using a personal vehicle.
- Report any changes in patient behavior or condition to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to complete our comprehensive state-required paid training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon employment).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
