Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
- Monitor Health Status: Observe changes in client mood, appetite, or physical condition and report concerns to the nursing supervisor promptly.
- Provide Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and accompany clients on walks to promote mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Prepare nutritious meals, assist with light cleaning, and ensure the living environment is safe and organized.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time (if certified).
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, or grocery shopping.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid California CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is highly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or the healthcare field is a plus.
- Character: Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
