Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercise.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- CNA or Home Health Aide certification is a plus, but not required if you are willing to undergo our paid training program.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can assist with this).
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day.
