Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and report changes in a client's physical or mental condition to the care team.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life.
- Administer medication and follow care plans as directed by the RN or LPN.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to client care.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid CNA, HHA, or PCA certification is a plus.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic.
