Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using ESI (Emergency Severity Index) protocols
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Manage patient flow during high-acuity situations
- Provide education to patients/families on emergency processes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (NV RN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong triage assessment skills with ESI proficiency
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
